Marshawn Lynch: Beast Mode

Marshawn Lynch has been traded to the Seattle Seahawks, and let me explain why this is a good thing. First off, we have always lacked one thing. A Predator. Jackson, Maroney, Green-Ellis are all beast predators, and we finally have our own. This should help take the work load of a number of people, because anyway you look at it we are improving the Rush. So what else will it improve. First, we are going to see our line improve dramatically. Okung worked in 26 plays before he decided to leave because he began to feel a sore ankle settling in. Later in that game he was ready go back in, but Caroll decided to keep him out and get him ready for Chicago. We resigned Chester Pitts, who just might be nearly 100% ready to go. Ben Hamilton and Sean Locklear are a little sore, but should be ready two weeks from now. Both Polumbus, Spencer and Gibson should also continue to get things done. Our O-Line is getting better even without the addition of Lynch, but adding him is only going to make them look better.

Lynch has also made the coaches cut Julius Jones, which is something I hear every hawk fan complain about. Even when we cut Ganther, I continued to hear many people ask why not Jones, well that has finally happened. Plus, Forsett is all about bringing lynch on board. They talk every week. They played together at Cal. Lynch was in his wedding. Forsett couldn't be happier and with that type of attitude, Lynch is only going to become even more familiar to our offense because his competition is helping him. They are already calling the two of them a good "1 2 combo". Forsett just wasn't the guy made to take the load, and who knows, maybe if we had given Lynch a bulk of the carries last week, it might have shown more than 65 yards.

QB Hasselbeck is also going to see a large improvement. If the rush begins to show success, Hasselbeck can start working in more play-action passes, and Screens. Two parts of football we can't use because we just couldn't get the defense to bite on the rush. Now we can, because they will. Hasselbeck is back.

Marshawn Lynch is also going to help out our wonderful defense. By improving our running game, we will also be improving our time of possession. For the last three years, i have thought that our defense wasn't that bad, but when they are out their defending three quarters of the game, the numbers at the end are just going to look horrible. Yea, Fag Rivers through for 455 yds, but we could have reduced those numbers by taking away much of his opportunity.

We got him for a 4th round pick. Sweet deal. I can guarantee no player in the 4th round can be compared to a star like Marshawn. We stole him. Literally!

I also have to mention that he has a criminal background. This is also exciting to me, because Seattle never has guys with criminal backgrounds. Leroy Hill doesn't count. He is hardly known. And have you met the girls in Issaquah WA, totally understandable. Lets get Marshawn a nice place in Tacoma. Where he will be able to get away with plenty of crime. Lets face it, Crime does pay in the NFL, and suspensions are really just vacations.

Jokes Aside. Lynch is going to be a menace to the football society. I cannot wait to see a bone crusher out there pounding players to the ground and pushing forward in a Hawks uniform. Time For Beast Mode.

  1. This trade is awesome and come at the right time. Lynch gets an extra week to pick up the offense and hopefully everyone heals up well. I am very excited for both Lynch and Forsett. No more getting stuffed on 3rd and 1!
